Hardworking high school senior, Perci Hunt, witnesses a car accident on his way home and decides to help the driver of the vehicle. Instead of thanking him, however, the driver—who turns out to be a criminal who had escaped from a nearby detention facility—not only attempts to kill Perci but also infects him with a novel virus that changes his life forever.
