1969. Somewhere in rural Louisiana, journalist Daniel Hale witnesses something he was never supposed to see. Instead of running, he follows it. What begins as an attempt to understand a killer slowly turns into something harder to explain. As Daniel travels deeper into the mind of the quiet and deeply unsettling Eli Dubois, the space between observer and participant begins to collapse.
