Patronage is a long-form comic about Tracy, a foreign graduate student who moonlights as a tattoo artist and his client Arkady, who he discovers is a professor at the same university. When Tracy's visa is in danger, Arkady gives him a research job to keep him in the country; queer shenanigans ensue.
