In the future, humans will be able to create their perfect artificial partner, the PartDroid, a partner modifiable to one's taste who will always love his human companion. Mike has been living happily with his PartDroid Mia for a long time; there is nothing missing in his life, yet sometimes a sense of lack catches him, and he cannot understand why. But one day at work he is introduced to his new colleague, Vetra, who like a storm disrupts Mike's quiet life.
