In a world ruled by Angels and demons, humans want to survive without being ruled over. The world is split in two, Angels rule the top, the demons rule the bottom, and the humans have to serve them. Some were able to escape to the Axtent, basically the middle of the the two kingdoms. Paper bag boy, as the people call him, showed up out of nowhere and weird stuff started to happen.
