Normally, the story repeats. Alice falls, meets friends and foes, gets chased out, and it starts again. But this time, Alice broke the cycle. She fell, made enemies, was jailed, learned to kill by training with a master criminal, escaped, and killed the Queen. Now, she's an assassin. The "Author" wants her back in the loop, sending threats to Alice, aiming to eliminate the anomaly and restart the tale. Alice races to help others take control of their lives before the story restarts once more.
