Bernadette is the youngest member of the Newmont family. The Newmonts are one of the richest families in America. It's almost Bernadette's sweet 16 and her mother has taken control of the entire event from the cake to the guest's list. Bernadette meets Cody, a boy who applies to be a waiter for the party after seeing an ad. The two quickly fall for each other, much to Bernadette's mother's disapproval. Can Bernadette pursue her new crush while avoiding her mother's wrath?
