On September 1st, 1999, at Santa Cruz High, seniors Ezra crosses paths with Ben a star athlete as both escape the chaos of the first day of school. At first, Ezra is distant and guarded, but their shared classes and chance encounters in the library, behind the theater, and at the old football stands slowly chip away at his walls. What begins as coincidence grows into something... out of the blue.
