Li Byrne awakens in the middle of the Irish Sea and is informed of his untimely death by Thomas Mial, a half-Merrow and fugitive on the run from Unseelie bounty hunters. A chase ensues as they are hunted by a headless cyborg, and the Seelie court's top agent, the pseudo-Goddess Pleur-na-Man. Something is not right in this 'otherworld' and nobody seems to be telling the truth.
