The story starts with Princess Pia's prophetic nightmares of a shadowy villain crashing her baby sisters christening. When no one listens to her warnings of the danger they pose, she sets off with mysterious Knight in training, Dahlia, to stop whatever is coming. Through their adventure they encounter fairies, good and bad, witches curses, magic peas, and uncomfortable social situations.
