An orphan raised in a silent monastery, Zash grew up without any concept of verbal communication. To him, the outside world and its words are a complete mystery. That is, until he discovers a helpful linguistic spirit eager to teach him the innermost secrets of language. However, as Zash soon learns, words have immense power - for both good and evil. And when Zash accidentally unearths a malicious entity of malediction, the consequences of his words may destroy everything he has ever known.
