One of the things I like most about rural Japan is all the nature you can encounter everyday. Recently it's been swallows building their nests on the side of the school building, or the noisy frogs in the rice fields, or the ridiculous amount of bugs EVERYWHERE. Then there was the time the science teacher came bursting into the teachers room waving about a snake he caught... good times!
