Welcome to the future, where chips become implanted into humans repurposed for real-life video games and entertainment. Split into three teams, the world looks forward in hopes of this year's tournament. Chucky Bates is just an ordinary boy, who, like most players, was unwillingly thrown into the arena with nothing but an assigned weapon and a single motive—glory and victory or the burden of losing. But there was one thing that no soul knew: Death was knocking on the other side of the door.
