After losing all memories as a child; Najja, and his adoptive sister Nuri, both live in lower Egypt. Both raised by farmers, their daily lives have become a routine. That is, until one day they both rescue a cat from drowning in the nile: and said cat reveals itself as the goddess Bastet, cat god. She tells Najja that he should be the one sitting on the throne of egypt. Though other secrets await to emerge, Najja starts his journey to uncover his past and potentially save the future.
