It has been 100 years since the bombs began to fall, and the world was ravaged by a nuclear apocalypse. The lands of the surface that had once been fertile are now a dusty radioactive wasteland. Some of humanity was spared the ravages of war by withdrawing into underground structures known as vaults. It is in one of these vaults that an orphaned girl and a genetically altered rabbit work as mechanics, struggling to find their place in the world.
