Amelia and her family move to a sleepy lake-side town at the beginning of the summer after getting kicked out of her high school. Nicole has just been sent to her Aunt's house in the town for summer after her unsupportive parents found out she had a girlfriend. Amelia and Nicole's friendship begins to become something more, as they both try to find themselves and cope with their pasts.
