Monsters are real. Vampires, werewolves, gremlins, killer tomatoes. Every now and then, they put on a (somewhat precarious) disguise and head into town to have some fun. Grab a beer, take a pottery class, go bowling — that sort of thing. Currently, they're hiding from a secret government organization formed to capture and contain creatures like them. Nero Cane. Maya is the organization's newest employee. What they don't know is that she's not exactly who she says she is.
