There were three rules the Royal Families across Vidrun imposed on their unwed children. One: They must never speak to those outside of their family. Two: They must always wear a veil in public. And three: They must never display their magic. Alden, the Crowned Prince of Catalpa Redun, is a young bachelor of fourteen, and he is sick of the rules.
