Anastasia Cortez is minding her own business when the police barge into her office and demand her help. There has been a string of mysterious murders involving magic. No one knows what spell is being cast, only that it involves human sacrifice--and a lot of it. Ana is happy to help, but the detective working with her to solve this case hates necromancers.
