After crash-landing on Earth due to navigation failure, D'van is taken in by a research facility who also appear to be a refuge center for extraterrestrial life. They are kind to him at first, but after discovering D'van's special abilities, the scientists begin satisfying their curiosities, and now he doesn't know whether to think of them as friend or foe.
