Martin and Diana are teenage stepsiblings at Torrington Academy, a boarding school. They secretly work for The Center, an organization that protects Earth from extraterrestrial and supernatural threats. Their allies include Billy, a small green alien and Martin’s best friend, and Java, a caveman from 200,000 years ago who now works as the school janitor and the team’s muscle.
