Keela Poesy, a high school senior who recently lost her father faces heartbreak on prom night when she finds her boyfriend with her best friend. In a moment of despair, she wishes on her late father’s necklace to escape her painful reality and see him once more. Her wish unexpectedly transports her into a fantasy world from a book her father wrote in her honour. Now the main character of his story, she must navigate challenges, fulfill her role, and wonder: did she escape reality forever?
