Zhou Xuan, a blind man stranded on a deserted island, awakens a system that won't activate for 500 years. In this perilous, monster-filled world, he must survive until then. A monkey spirit appears and wants to be his disciple. To pass the time, Zhou Xuan teaches the monkey powerful martial arts, fooling it into thinking he's a deity. Years later, the monkey causes chaos in the heavens, even stunning the Buddha. The Buddha seeks help from the Heavenly Saints to deal with the monkey.
