The story takes place in “Local City – Milky Way,” a world where planets and stars live as humans, their daily lives shaped by real astronomical facts. The protagonist, Earth, is a student at Milky Way High School who suffers from a rare and evolving condition called “Human.” As fears grow that the disease may become contagious, Ms. Sun, the school’s principal, views Earth as a serious threat and plans to eliminate him.
