He could hear the voice in his head; it echoed softly, yet unmistakably. The forest around him had been submerged in darkness long ago, blood rushed faster through his veins. It seemed as if all life had run away from this deadly forest, but looking for the plant that would save his daughter's life was what mattered now... Didn't it? Yet the voice rang in his head like a chant for a mysterious ritual, as an omen of death.
