Arthur Brigadier is a high school student obsessed with monsters-but not because he loves them. He's terrified of them. Convinced they're real, starting from the age of six, Arthur has spent years obsessively studying every monster myth, legend, and creature classification he can find. He's even built a garage full of handmade (sometimes impractical) anti-monster gadgets. Most people think he's a weirdo. He's not a loner by choice, but his constant paranoia and warnings make him an outcast. One day, just as he considers giving it all up and trying to live normally, he encounters a real monster.... proving he was right all along. Now, Arthur uses his encyclopedic monster knowledge and DIY tech to protect his town from creatures no one else believes exist.
