Conrad, a young mage, joins the great war but suffers a head injury that makes him lose his memory. Haunted by despair, he nearly gives up, only for the war to end in victory. Yet triumph feels hollow, and he journeys back to his village in search of his mother. Along the way, fragments of his past return, guiding him to her final gift, a magic that heals not only his wounds, but his soul.
