Monsters have invaded Earth. There is a need for warriors to fight the monsters. Private companies have emerged to hire warriors and offer services to eliminate monsters throughout the country. Max, the minimalist samurai, aims to kill each monster minimalistically, which means to kill with as few strikes as possible. While protecting humanity is his goal, these private companies have other plans.
