Mickie was born with a rare disorder "Polymyositis". It is a condition that affects muscles all over the body and can affect a person’s ability to run, walk, or lift objects. So his parents didn’t want him to feel bad about not being able to do what other kids do. They got him a radio. Not just any radio.
