This story follows Teddy Headstock. A 21-year-old guitarist who was kicked out of her band, and apartment, a few months before a major talent competition. She bumps into Pippa Overdrive, a local celebrity vocalist and guitarist who was also just kicked out of her band. Together, they set out to start a group to compete in the Clash of Chords Contest. Though Pippa can play a mean guitar riff, she also plays her part in some, less-than-favorable, very illegal businesses.
