Some time ago what remained of the world was consumed by what people call the Mayall. Now, most stretches of wilderness have become deadly no-go zones, making people unable to stray too far from their own protected towns (the ones that survived the change of course). That doesn't mean much to Böden, a kid born without much that couldn't care less of what people think... That might not end well.
