🌊Time to dive a bit into Korean literature, folks!🌊 The ancient poem Geonwoo references is called 모란은 화중왕이요 (Peony is the King of Flowers) by poet 김수장 (Kim Su-jang). This sijo is recorded in 58 anthologies, and its lyrics are slightly different in each version. The poet goes on to list many flowers, assigning each one a role. Plum blossoms are either compared to a poor scholar or a hermit. 🐟🐟
