79 years after the Old Order fell, a middle-schooler under the Global Government named Kevin Thomas Kagero discovers an illegal fantasy book in a hidden, dilapidated room of a university's library, and takes it home with him, inadvertently freeing a metaphysical creature known as Ecco The Lightningcolt. Having once dethroned an incompetent Warlock King in his books, Ecco, his new friend Kevin, and the Social Rejects Club must now overthrow a more powerful regime through subtler means.
