Mangrove forest is story that revolves around the return of Bhavani; the witch who drowned in the lake, and the events that take place in fictional island of taro; one of the seven islands that are scattered along the backwaters. This is a story of the last two generation of people’s life on the island of taro and their beliefs in the myths, legends, history, love, lust, blood and hope.
