Ted Evanovich is 5 years old when his father leaves him, his mother and baby sister Tammy. Soon it becomes clear his mother is not able to take care of her two young children, so it is up to Ted now to take care of them all. Over the years we follow Ted face off against many challenges, drugs, rabid dogs, bullies, dealers, foster care, and maybe even some monsters. All to keep his family safe as the man of the house.
