Mai loves cooking with her mom, whose food always makes her happy. She dreams of becoming a chef to share that joy with others. When her mother loses her job, their neighbor suggests Mai audition for Merge Bistro Host. Nervous at first, Mai cooks from the heart, using her mom’s lessons. Her dish impresses, and she brings happiness to everyone around her. After her mother finds part-time work, Mai’s dream comes true as she becomes the host of Merge Bistro.
