Kat Lee Bryant the protagonist is a scientist whom has slice her genetics with a cat, so if the drones were to see her that would recognize her as a cat. In the year 2735 she is the age of 19 and already show her intelligence to be that of a genius, and is able to make into a military facility to acquire equipment for her experiment. She is making preparations for space travel but got caught in the war that is going on between drones and humans, as the war rages cities are being destroyed and people are being forced out of their homes into space for their own survival.
