The MANA festival, hosted by Runepine Academy of Witchcraft and Gadgetry, is a biannual tournament where the witches from Runepine Academy and a few non-scholar witches recommended by staff compete for a grand prize. That prize is being able to go from a witch in training to a full-fledged licensed witch instantly. Nura and Maitho are the finalists of the tournament and have to fight each other to get what they desire.
