Disaster strikes the Magne family as Charlotte Magne sacrifices her life for her father's over the disrespect that her father (Lucifer Magne) had caused to the terrifying monster that rules the dark forest. Shortly after arriving at the castle, the monster (Alastor) makes her a deal. She has one year to keep him entertained. If she succeeds, then she may return home. Fail, and he devours her. Will Charlotte prevail? Or will something else keep her from leaving?
