About two people in a magic run society the more magic the better, but you need to have control over this magic or people call you broke, a monster. etc. Oliver is from the middle class with very good magic control and decent magic power, but Ivy doesn't have good magic control and a huge amount of magic because she was born from high class parents, who are about to disown her because she's "broken". So her parents hire Oliver who needs the money and Ivy needs the training. When they meet Oliver is in awe of not only her magic but her in general, Ivy on the other hand hates Oliver, because he was there to train her and she didn't want him to, but over time she comes around and they fall in love.
