a creature known as a Malnaki lives with the insatiable hunger for living creatures, a hunger that only comes close to satisfaction with humans. Each day is lived with this hunger hanging like a disease, and life is empty- until this hunger brings him to a small human baby who's mother was killed, and a whole new meaning is discovered.
