Based loosely on Greek Mythology, Len and Alistair slowly begin to realize how messed up their world is. Gods had begun dying slowly some unknown time in the past so Zeus and his brothers created replacements to be trained for when a god would die. Len and Alistair were trainees for the position of Eros (more commonly known by his Roman name: Cupid), and when Len was chosen to be Eros' successor he saw the inner workings of Zeus' messed up ways to keep his world in check.
