I wrote this episode in Dec'19, and I had my doubts if Bennett's story with his father is not exaggerated or off. Recent events (Aug'20) in my country added a grim commentary: search for "Polish Stonewall" or read more on my social media, if you want more details. As much I wish it weren't the case, LGBTQ+ discrimination is a fact, happening now.
