No one wants to spend summer in the sticks, especially new Junior High school student Yuito. After a rough first semester, Yuito's dragged to the small town of Kyokocho to stay with his eccentric grandmother. He thought he'd be bored out of his mind until his life took a turn for the weird: her favorite kappa statue suddenly came to life! Now he's stuck with a mischievous Kappa, and Yokai begin popping up around every corner. Turns out things really are more than what they seem on the surface.
