Seventeen-year-old Klaus, an aspiring photographer, is unsatisfied with life. When a fight with his parents prompts him to leave home, he's led to the idyllic city of Daylily. In his wandering, he meets a young man named Xavier—who he has no intention of befriending—but the more Klaus learns about him, the less he can stay away. Especially once hit with a harsh reality that calls for a change of perspective.
