Every year, in the kingdom of Mylae, official selections are held to recruit the most deserving new recruits. Among them is Shed, a young man with great aspirations but who has never really fought. What would happen if Seth, 1st Signifer and commander of the 12th Army, noticed him among the many candidates? In the meantime, far from the important event, in the streets of the suburbs, lives a young thief, Vacuna. What really binds these three guys so different from each other?
