Nova Sira, a girl from a small village in the kingdom of Marsuras, finds out the truth of what her family has been doing for the royal family and finds out her destiny of she stays in the kingdom any longer. Being as spontaneous and stubborn as she is, Nova grabs her best friend, Liam Deacon (a recently orphaned farm boy), and heads out of a journey where they find destinies of their own where they won't be worthless, where they won't be slaves to a crown, where they have meaning.
