A far lost cultist in Rome conducts a ritual that is promised to grant him rule over the world. The ritual doesn't go as expected and a lot of people, including our protagonist Velo, are caught in the effects of the resulting explosion. This event causes a historical shift in power, creating earth's first ACTUAL heroes and villains.
