Emi, a nine-year-old boy, is orphaned at a young age and is left with nothing but the clothes on his back and a peculiar mask. He is curious as to where it comes from, whose it is, and why he was left with it in the first place. With Parko by his side, an unusual talking flightless bird, Emi will find out what happened in his past and his people's history.
