As roving bands of monsters scour the outskirts of the kingdom, a woman named Phe and her team of makeshift therapists work together to prepare displaced young boys for a life of inevitable fighting. Amongst the refugees is Zed, an orphan from the war with little in the way of skill. But unbeknownst to all, his ultimate fate might be key to the salvation of the kingdom.
